well. if you have any doubt, even the slightest, you prolly shouldn't pop the question.
how long have you been dating? can you sit and have a talk with her and tell her that you don't want this to end, but are a bit scared of the whole marriage thing. ask for some time and understanding. then, if you feel you're ready pop the question early next year, that way the wedding won't be until the year after that's summer. so it gives you plenty of time to prepare and make sure it's right.
