thanks, jox. magnet and hammer? I gave it a pretty thorough, if uneducated look over. Saw no rust, body is straight. engine looks very clean. the guy has put alot of work into it already...drove like a gem. only irritation was a slight whistling from the front of the soft top...but it was pouring the rain and I no leaks. hhmm.
I live in Nashville...it would really just be an around-town car. The Bertone was great but the rear left was crunched in and I realized that given how rare those cars are it would cost a ton to repair. :(
