Yeah they would know, this town is not very large, I'm prepared for that. But I also have a lot of other work...I'm pretty much helping out at the studio to do some web work, where the work I would be doing for said client would be print based...so I wouldn't get to touch it anyways. Just having some quality peices from this client would bring in more work so I'm not too concerned with the longevity of it. I think I might just end it with the studio, I'll give it a couple weeks and get out...even if I never get the client. I'll make up an excuse that would give me an in with them down the road if the conflict of interest resolves itself.
I'm a really honest person and I don't want to burn bridges. If I get this account while working for them...oh that would make me feel like shit, and like I said this town is not HUGE.
