  mark up cost are normal here in italy, everybody knows about it, but is average 5-10%

  not 35!!!!

  basically if client goes to a random printer "X".
  "X" give a price of 10

  so designer goes to his fav printer "Y" and says look "X" asked 10 for this job what is your quote?
  "Y" says this is a 8 job,
  designer says ok we ask for 9

  at the end
  client is happy because he pay less than the first quote

  "Y" get what he wants

  designer gets 1 for doing nothing

  all this because italian are bastards, real cost of work is average 6.

  does it make sense?
