Gonzalmz> ok to straight some facts,

"..OSX is about 800 times better than XP.."
OSx or xp or w2k are almost in the same level, from this point counts only the personal preference.

"..The moment MS introduces Palladium you can say "well, expandability is fucked.".." heh.., can you expand on this?

"..Like I said, once the 64-bit Power 4 based P970s are released for Mac, you'll have a beast again.." 64bit for apple will come too late mate, pcs are almost there.
".. say, why bother struggling with an OS that is barely stable for me (I'm running 1.5GHz DELL, 512 RAM).." XP is not"barely stable" and Dell is notorious about their horrible setups of OS.
".. Take into account the advantages of shorter, fewer pipelines and RISC-based processing. Don't just pay attention to the numbers,.." No, YOU must not pay so much attention to the overblowed apple marketing. Get your facts straight about the x86 & power cpus. Fewer pipelines, interestingly enough, is a drawback in the cpu design and Powerpc instruction set are not so reduced as you think so. And we dont have to refer to memory bandwidth issues etc...

once again, Hardware wise, Apple lost the game, OS wise, they have a very good OS, always had, but the differences with MS OSes arent any more what was 10 years ago.
