I'm also wondering how wise of Nintendo it is to launch YET ANOTHER portable system after the Advanced and SP within a relative short time period for system lifespans.

That's a bummer to me. My daughter just got an SP Advanced less than a year ago. My brother got a DS for Christmas and I'm thinking about opening it up and playing until then. Hahaha!
