if your company has regular preformace evaluations just bring it up during your evaluation, espicially if it is going well.
if not just go balls out and ask for the raise, you might get a negitive reaction at first but it you are really worth what your asking once your boss thinks about it they will realize you are worth it, and in the end they will be be happy that they did the right thing and you will be happy you got that ca$h
