virtues of Fireworks?

  I've always been a big fan of laying everything out in illy..messing with the bitmaps in photoshop and then bringing them all together into flash. However last week I hung out with the guy who taught me design and he built this really nice layout in Fireworks. So I started using it again for my new site and I have to say that it is a really nice program for laying things out. Much better imo than Illustrator.

  I think the reason why I like it is that I am such a visual person, and its much easier to see what the page is going to look like when you are using fireworks. Exporting to flash from Fireworks cuts out all those annoying errors that Illy and Flash have.

  Isn't Image Ready just for doing funny animated gifs?
