    there were protests on the streets in iraq calling for her release, many islamic and arab leaders called for her release, some Iraqis offered themselves to her captors for her release, all arab media outlets denounced it

    also, there was a message supposedly from the "al-Qaeda in iraq" group led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi calling for her release.

    but none of that matters now does it
