Okay. Dated. Sure. I am all about opinions and open-mindedness, but in this situation my boss wants me to design a jacket with specific things in mind, this being one of them.

I think you said that simply to be a dick.

If you were trying to be constructive, which we all know you don't have to be, you might say "An alternative to that kind of thing might be.." or "you may want to research other ideas for attaching garments".. you actually did not even inquire about what I was making.

This whole "I am on top of the world" bit is fucking discouraging.

I come here seeking help and advice from great designers, people who DO know what is out of style, but lately I see a lot of straight out dickhead criticism, it is unwelcoming and rude.

I post here because a lot of people know more than me. A lot of people I admire as designers and their business sense.

So you can take that knowledge and keep picking on people like me who are not arrogant enough NOT to ask others for knowledge or opinions, or you can embrace it and help us out, or even IGNORE us when we are being lowly ignorant out of style losers producing crap everyday and let someone who gives us a few seconds, maybe up to a minute of thought respond and actually answer the fucking question instead of post based on his or her own arrogance and uninformed but yet decided opinion.
