  I have been working in barcelona all last year, im italian, i learned spanish in less than a month, but barcelona is catalonia, not just spain.
  So people there speaks catalan, and they are not so happy if they have to speak in spanish for work reason.

  its a great town but catalan mentality is a bit close compared to average spain.. so if you are foreigner and dont speak catalan forget to work as a freelance..

  If you are well know in your field and have the right contacts( you know the right person in FAD www.fadweb.org the website now is down but check it) then maybe you have some chanche
