Hey K,
As I also said earlier, it's always about the money...
A mag by designers 4 designers would be great... But there's always gonna be money involved. A magazine needs to be printed and that costs a lot of money. A money hungry publising company is always gonna be involved. You don't see too many independent mags laying in your bookstore now do you? I used to run a small indie magazine (about dance music - 25000 copies) over here in Belgium and I can tell you it's not easy to survive without the backup of a large money hungry monster that can back you up...
