    Here is some real advice.

    To really make it in the dsign game is extremely difficult. It takes a combination of talent, detrmination, skill and of course luck.

    While you have a decent portfolio, you need to land some big name projects through a major agency. Either freelance or as an employee. Building a good portfolio takes years of hard work while being under paid, slaving away for people you do not respect or admire. Very few people have the determination to put up with it.

    Also work on you people skills. Get a management position. That is where the money is. Being a leader who is respected and admired by other designers is the raod to management. And organizing teams of people is truly where the greatest rewards are - not being a great desigenr.

    If you can stick it out for 10 years or more, most of the other competitors will drop off, get married, have kids, give up and fade away. Be positive and roll the dice, you have little to lose and everythign to gain.
