Hmm. Cattle and Sheep, for just 2 examples, are dependant on us for survival. They are domesticated over 1000's years for our eating pleasure.
We provide them (in the best case) with food and shelter and protect them from illness. In turn, we eat them.
If we all give up meat on moral grounds, we've got a problem on our hands, that would lead to mass slaughter.
