holy fucking lot of responses... i got about half way through... but this is my take on it;
im a designer, i like fashion, i like looking good, im an addict for sneakers and graphic tees.
i have 2 pairs of jeans that i wear on a daily basis (both 'expensive' $175 paper denim). i like the way they fit, i like the way they sag, i like the way they sit on my kicks, and i like the minimalist wash, stiching, and colors.
i can justify spending $200 on them because a) i can afford it and b) if i compare the ratio of money spent to daily wears, they're the most cost effective items in my wardrobe.
people who like/appreciate fashion will undeniably be fashionable and buy quality products. people who aren't won't do that.. so what's the big deal?
to each their own.
