WARNING! WARNING!
Now hear this:Do not buy the new Jimmy Eat World DVD unless you are some total die hard fan.
I bought it yesterday because it was only $11. Popped it in to watch it and was hit by what I forgot when I bought it: That singer is garbage when they're playing live. Can't sing in tune, he is a product of well produced studio vocals and countless recording overdubs.
It was a combination of that and very poor soundboard work at the show. No reverb on vocals. Just sounded dry and like singing in a closet.
I'm hoping that the documentary and in studio stuff is good because that's kind of what I bought it for.
But the concert part is BORING.If you want the best music dvd of the year, get the Placebo dvd, even if you don't like them. It will rock your socks off!
