Bollocks to it isnt easy to run a magazine.
My brother is the editor for a FREE magazine which is given away in clothes and record shops.
The advertising PAYS their wages, the Printing and Distribution. They just spend their time interviewing popstars etc and writing articles for the magazine.
Create online started off like a 'community' magazine but slowly seemed to creep up its own arse and before long was all 'businessy' and licking Jakobs ass.
    To me that isnt community-loving.

If anyone has got the time and effort to set up that sorta thing, i think that a COMMUNITY magazine which survived my advertising etc which featured submissions/work/interviews with people WE WANT TO READ ABOUT (our peers) instead of business and money matters.
Fair enough some of us maybe are self imployed and want to read about money matters and trends but if you are a creative person you wanna be reading a mag like that to be INSPIRED.
In the end i think create online appealed to Project Managers and Creative Directors (something 'cool' to have on their desk) rather than Designers.

    rant over ;)
