interesting views, and i agree with just about everyone who is opposed to this.
i'm open to pro-bono work for causes i believe in, unique or otherwise interesting venues of design and promotion, or at the least to help a buddy out.
that said, i don't see how this sort of thing can be beneficial to any person and especially to our industry; no matter what type of spin they happen to put on the scenario in an attempt to make the situation somehow seem more appealing and opportune to an unfortunate designer who might be gullible enough to believe that entertaining this scheme would be advantageous to their career.
this is the sort of thing for your local (or abroad) art and design college, not a messageboard made up of what is supposed to be professionals.
