If you code for standards, you'll only need to do it once (with some tricks admittedly) and will get far greater cross-browser/platform compatibility which will include browsers of the future.
And if we're gonna start airing grievances I've got a couple.
How about full screening my browser windows for me... I frickin hate that! Especially when a window is fullscreened, then pops open another window which gets fullscreened, then pops open yet another window.
