i had a honda civic that got stolen three times within a year-and-a-half.
the first time i found it literally right around the corner with only minor damage to the ignition, the second time the cops found it when some kids were using it to ram parked cars in a pretty bad part of town (the insurance company decided to fix it up again anyways) and the third time they found it, it looked like this:
(the seats were gone too)
By that time my friendly insurance company had canceled my comprehensive coverage as well (i was too high risk), so i was basically fucked.
By the way, i had a steering wheel lock (the club) on the car each time it got stolen...those things don't work. They hacksaw through the steering wheel and just pop those out.
Now i have a pedal lock, which seems to be the way to go (unless your pedals have pins in them, in which case they're fairly easy to remove and your pedal lock ain't worth shit).I hate those thieving bastards.
