Hey Dave--in NY, you really do have to assume someone is sharing an apartment. A 2 bedroom APT in manhattan or around is easily $2000 a month!
This is why I'm looking for someone young--I'm a very young business, just worked my ass off to get out of my apartment and build a studio. I have to be cautious so I don;t overstretch myself. All of a sudden I have like $4000 a month in fixed expenses just to keep the office open, pay people, it's a lot
$20 isn't a ton, but it's not horrible. I posted it at $175-$200 a day depending on resume.
