Robert is right about the location being great. The city gave me a lot of inspiration.
One thing I regret not doing was taking all my general ed courses at a junior college before moving to SF. So I suggest you do that and not spend the same amount of money on 6th grade level physics class as you would on a 3D/web class
I graduated from the 3D dept and right now they're so unsure what they want that dept to be that they're making a million changes. Teachers and classes were being dropped and replaced with new ones. I think in about 2 years they might have an idea about the 3D dept, but at this very moment, classes and carriculums are rapidly changing.
If you're self motivated and know where you want your art to be, go for it because as robert and shant said, the resources are great, but if you need a push in the right direction, it'll be hard to find one. Thats because the students are half shmucks and don't really strive for much.
