That program will only work well if only one single instrument is playing on the .wav or .mp3 - as soon as, for example, drums, guitar and bass are all playing at the same time... it'll become a mess. Besides that, if you actually have a midi track, it's not certain if it will 'trigger' the right tones in your phone...
There are complete factories with people recreating popular songs into .mid format for mobile phones - if things were this easy i guess that would be a little unnecessary right?
