London is really big. Like REALLY big. Bigger than most cities in Europe. Anywhere central is gonna be expensive. West London can also be expensive, but a lot of places, like Hammesmith, Shepherds Bush aren't too bad. North and East London are generalyl cheap. Take moth's advice, checkout Loot.com, and have a map of London to handy. You'll quickly figure out where the most expensive places are and get a feeling for the city. And make sure u ask someone (like me or us) if you're interested in somewhere. Wouldn't want you ending up living in a crack-den in Shadwell or something.
