seriously though, it's expensive.
If you study Full Time, expect to struggle mixing the job and course work.
If you want your own flat, you can maybe (a big maybe) find something for £600pm if you're lucky.
If you share with others (loads of places) you can expect to pay anything from £350+pm.
I've had friends from Germany and France come over here and there have been problems on the job front. People will discriminate if your English is bad, and also if you say you're a student. This applies to bar work, restaurants etc...
If you have experience in a "real" job, you'll get a much easier ride.
