The law was a purely political piece of bullshit from the Clinton Era that did nothing to deter the selling of assault weapons in the US. If the freakin law isn't doing any good, why have it in place?
And honestly - Bush is to blame for a 10 year ban on assault weapons lapsing? When did the President assume Congressional powers? How about bitching about your Congress Representatives & Senators first. What a load.
