well for starters i wouldn't buy the new imac yet because as always the initial price is too steep to draw in the suckers who have the urge to own the latest shit. a G4 800 is still very ok. just slam in more ram. you can also update the cpu to a 1.2 Ghz machine for around 300 euros.
