I agree with the other comments. Not a bad start.

the verticle strip is our brand...though i was thinking about running it accross the top, cliché like every other zine out there..tymeframe
I would look and see if your brand doesn't need a little more thought. 'Metro' is fairly loaded right now. Not liking the city scape image. get down to the street level if your going 'zine'. graffiti or something else, art maybe?
the text on the bottom isn't bad.
