OK, but I meant, I wouldn't even try to further reinforce your concept by playing with the type, maybe keep a stylized "F" but then just use a nice well suited "nautical" face. You could have the mermaid (if you were serious about that) resting/intertwined on/around the "S". I would also move away from dropping the size of the "by the"
Even better would be to anchor the mermaid (no pun intended) to the "F" and use a stylised "S" so film and sea would have more predominence, and you could still get away with keeping "by the" relatively in proportion to the rest. I guess I'm just finding the type as it is, very awkward, but I'd be keen to see any other avenues you may started to explore.
Again, these are tactics I always end up falling back on, thus my logo folio is so 1 dimensional, and I'm sure this post made very little sense!
