  and yes

  the new safari beta puts Flash performance on par with previous OS9 framerates . . .
  Not back at 'Performa' rates which you get with stupid IE5 for OSX

  which is just slightly below PCs for most stuff . . .

  the kicker is getting some ridiculous bitmap stuff flying around . . .
