  i'm confused. did you ge laid off or did you get fired? either way it's shitty, but it sounds as if either a. they knew you didn't like the job/weren't performing to expectations or b. they were having financial trouble; and hired someone else for probably significantly less. both of these are just thoughts of course.

  i was in a similar situation and was laid off after three years. 4 months prior they just hired a new guy that had dabbled in flash...hmmm. makes you think. bastards. so much for senority
