I'd start out with a quick Google search on beat matching. That's what you're going to want to start learning first. A lot of it will depend on what you're spinning. Once you get it all down, it's as easy as counting to four.
I've been spinning on belt drives for years. My friend was an old school DJ and he told me if I could beat match on belt drives I could beat match on anything... which I can!
