pms print colors to web?!

    in photoshop:

    1) double click the foreground colour in the tools pallette.
    2) click custom
    3) from the drop down list, choose the pantone matching system (pms) your client has used. You can tell this from the letter following the number for each reference - eg. 456C denotes Pantone Solid Coated
    4) Type the Pantone number on your number pad - Photoshop will automagically select this colour from the list
    5) With the Pantone colour selected, click "picker"
    6) Voila, your hex number just below the RGB.
    7) To get the closest websafe colour to the PMS reference, simply click "Only Web Colors" Note that the web safe colour might be a long way off of the PMS colour
