Contrast between the header and the mid section is too different. Perhaps make the "sky" a different shade that compliments.
The bold headings above the links are too tight to the green "grass".
Finally look at your type in the mid section. I know its a blog but it seems like a wall of type with no variety.
don't ghet me wrong, I like it these are just things I would look at.
