  make a new mc with your animation and put a stop action in the first frame.

  put it on the timeline and duplicate the layer like 10 times.
  name mc's from mc1 to mc10

  then on frame one put his code :
  _root.mc.play();

  on frame two :
  _root.mc2.play();

  and so on..
