I used to hang out with a guy who's mutual friend got engaged. He wasn't even in the wedding and he took over the planning of the bachelor party. See, he was married and just wanted/needed an excuse or an escape and this was it.
At first the best man just wanted a little private get together of cards, then out for drinks, there were about 19 of us who said yes. Then the married guy took over and tried to get everyone to go to Vegas. Reluctantly the groom agreed. Only 5 guys went and I hear they had a shitty time.
Why am I telling you this I have no friggin idea. For some reason it seemed relevant sputnik.
