    i usually go in this order

    1. illustrator
    2. photoshop
    3. back and forth between the two
    4. split up in image ready
    5. export images and html
    i usually use the exported html to begin, but by the time i am thru, the html is completely different.

    i am capable of writing the html from scratch, but i rarely do. im not fast enough, so i do most things in DW and go back and forth in design view and code view.

    then i sell it to pay for my habits. =)
