    interesting debate here. That point about the client getting pissed when you don't carbon copy your mood board is true. but the moodboard itself is exactly that. It should be somehting you do for yourself to guide you, inspire you, lead you to an original goal yet live in the same feel as your board. If you can keep it out of the clients eye DO IT. If your doing the mood board for THEM, then it's not really fair. Do the project first, then make the moodboard from snippets of the finish. And have a jar of piss ready, incase things get nasty.
