I don't know what the rent is as I work for a company here, so they the rent. Not particularly cheap I dont think.
I think there is a waiting list, but people come and go quite alot, and theres always people renting desk space and stuff out too,so its probably worth your mate popping in every now and again to see...
Theres also a new development at Shepherds Bush - Shepherds Studios, which looks quite similar (apart from having a main roadrun through the building!)
