hit command + b to get your text field options.
set the first baseline offset to "leading" and make sure all your text boxes are set the same.
if it is set to "ascent" then the baseline get's pushed down by taller letters on the first line. i don't typically ever use the default of ascent.
if you'd like to change the default setting to "leading" - hit command + b with NO text box selected. Then set the it to "leading".
that should work - let me know if it don't.
