    If you have a dv camcorder or some other digital capture device it would be very easy.

    Using your DVD rca out jacks connect it to your DV camcorder and connect the camcorder to your computer via firewire or usb. If your on a mac, use iMovie or Premiere to capture footage. If your on a PC, get ahold of Premiere LE or something.
    I do this all the time. Works with VCR's and DVD players.
    The biggest things is that you must have a DV Camcorder.
