Not too sure - good to have in reserve, really depends on your audience.
Funniest BM speech I heard was when a guy really did his research on the dates they were born and got married, and did a "this day in history..." type speech - obviously linkign the particular events to particular things in the hapy couples lives. Very cleverly thought out
just dont sing
You could just opt for the quaf quaf himself and say...
"as always I am in bewildered awe of anyone who takes the plunge etc etc"
