Hey man. I'm 22 and moving to San Francisco in a month with my best friend. I don't have a job there yet, we don't have a place confirmed, and I've never been there for longer than a week at a time, but we're going anyway because we know it's where we want to be.
If you're that fed up with Tampa, I encourage you (along with a lot of other people, apparently) to get the hell out and live the life you want to live. You may be only 21, but life can be really short sometimes, so make the most of what you got.
As for the company, if you're miserable there and in the city, you shouldn't sacrifice your happiness and potential to enlighten the world with your design for their not-making-you-happy asses.
Whether you're with the girl forever or not, at least you can credit her for getting you out of Tampa, which will most likely always be a fond memory.
