    yo, sorry to respond and not have an answer, but that "swearing at it from dif. angles" was too damn funny.

    i have also tried that technique. although it costs some money (hardly) just go to http//:www.newegg.com and buy a new one. they are so cheap now, you could probably get a 52x for $30. then you have the 'office space' pleaseure of busting the shit out of that problem;.
