I like what you were doing with your previous one – they idea of putting a face in the logo, if you use thi sidea then I think you should in corporate it into the 'man' part not the 'bleu' part.
Why are you calling the company Blueman - just curious.
THe second one is cleaner but perhaps you could still have a little typographic twist, maybe use the 'ee as an eye...i dunno, but your getting there.
