hey cosmo! definitely change the colors. check out a color book from the library - that'll give you some color combinations that are sure to please! also, look into creating some indentations within the body of the categories - clearly define where title and the description are. easier to read that way.
maybe put a little bit of color within the text.
why separate your addy from phone and e-mail? make your name large on the left and place your addy above or below other contact info.
also, you spell university at one point and then abbreviate it at another - just do one or the other. you should capitalize any acronyms (ex. PHP)
can you place any links to work you've done?
