A PC user told me about the stringent registation process. I'm on a Mac. If I was a pirate I would be pretty paranoid about the apps talking to their servers. Although, I'm pretty much a paranoid person in general.
It would seem like that strict registration process could help curb piracy. Although I guess a technology will always come out to defeat it as I mentioned there is a txt file that makes it think it was registered.
