I think this movie is more Todd Solondz than Wes Anderson. Except the humor here is nowhere near as dark or poignant.
I enjoyed the movie quite a bit - especially the first half. After a while the humor thins out a bit, but still works more often than not.
Oh, and this is definitely the most quotable movie I've seen in quite some time.
I recommend it.
BTW, did anyone else sense sexual tension between the brother and uncle??
