boz.... it was a good drive though.
(hahahaha)
Just saw the film ... now all I can say is that one needs to be subjective and verify what they saw.
There was definetly specualation and use of emotional outburst to relay mr. moore's points.
I was a bit astonished at just how deep the ties to saudia arabia are with some of America's big business... and how much that big business is tied to the gov. in power right now.
The 'speculation' in question would be the quick flash of the Cigarettes - pointing to cigarette companies fronting money etc... but NO PROOF was given. When you try to make a point... and YOU'RE DOING A GOOD JOB... don't throw crap in there like the 'cigarette shot'. That's speculation - but unfortunetly will be taken as proof to many who view the film.
I enjoyed it - very much a reminder of man's greed and lack of love and care for their fellow man - ON BOTH SIDES of the issue.
Of course the film was hardcore liberial - with only points from the liberial viewpoint - so this is a biased movie. No matter how true or false the claims may be.
Overlall... two thumbs up - informative, entertaining...
.. but be subjective when watching this. Go home and think about this - and even research some of the items that were more 'claims' than fact. That's what I'm doing at least.
cheers.
