The color does not say to me california or china (california = yellow?).. the beams are too aggressive. I would even try out some other ideas to express the idea of trading instead of the lighthouse - the lighthouse idea is overused, besides the name of the company doesn't even reference to it.
Try 2 colors only and fewer details, the white line is somewhat useful, i would make it thicker so it reduces well and have a more graphic look. and yes the type need some work.
